BODY
- Only ACE P001 Porsche 996 GT3-RS body including all kit parts (2 piece rear wing, rear vision mirror, windscreen wiper, exhaust pipes, head light insert) are to be used. No other bodies are allowed
- Minimum body material thickness is .015
- Cut out & mounting of body has to reflect the actual 1:1 car
- The presentation of the body (paint design, decals & additional detail parts) has to be as realistic as possible to a 1:1 car of this time
- At least a 2 piece driver interior (vacuum formed with separate drivers head) is to be used. Interior has to cover all windows. No chassis parts are allowed to be visible
CHASSIS
- Only fully adjustable (wheelbase, width & ground clearance) Model Car Racing Chassis such as manufactured by Plafit, Motor Modern, Schoeler, M-Racing, Slot-vision, Metris, Solid, Race-Tec etc)
- Chassis has to be adjusted according to the body and its dimensions making sure that all wheels are covered by the body when viewed from above
- All original mounting points and basic configuration must be retained
- No chassis modifications other than within its design limits
- Carbon or Aluminium parts are allowed
- No soldering permitted to hold motor in position. Only motor screws are to be used
- Body tape may be used to hold lead wires in place
- Additional weight may be added on top or around the chassis
GROUND CLEARANCE
- 1mm under entire chassis including gear.
FRONT AXLE
- Any 3mm. Independent front axles allowed.
REAR AXLE
- 3mm solid steel only
- Oilite bushings or Ball Bearings must be glued in place
FRONT WHEELS
- Only Sakatsu Design Aluminium Wheels (2101, 2103, 2105) are to be used
- Minimum tyre & rim width is 7mm
- Minimum tyre diameter is 26mm. Plafit hard Front Tyres (8411 or 8412) are allowed only
- Sakatsu Brake disks (2100) are to be used
REAR WHEELS
- Only Sakatsu Design Aluminium Wheels (2102, 2104, 2106) are to be used.
- Minimum tyre & rim width is 13mm
- Minimum tyre diameter is 27mm. Plafit Black Magic rear tyres (8411BM or 8442BM) are allowed only
- Sakatsu Brake disks (2100) are to be used
- Use of Goo and/or any other tyre softener, liquids etc is not allowed. Cleaning with shellite only allowed
WHEEL INSERTS
- Wheel Inserts related to the actual 1:1 car have to be used on all wheels at all times.
PINION
- Any plastic 50 pitch crown spur gears for 3mm axle.
MOTOR
- Only 13D 8636 Plafit Pointer Motor.
- Original lettering “PLAFIT POINTER China” has to be visible.
- Sealed motors are not to be opened or modified in any way.
- Any lead wire may be used.
