With 14 drivers participating, the qualifying began on Friday 20th Feb, with he final sessions being held on Saturday 21st. The starting grid consisted of Carrera, SCX and Scalextric, with Scalextric being the most popular choice.

With the qualifying over and the drivers sorted into their respective grades, the first drivers lined up, and the action commenced.

The racing was close all night and as expected very competitive, but all in good fun, with the event continuing to approx 1am Sunday. Apart from a few cars experiencing major rubber loss the event was once again another successful Phoenix event.
