| FLY CLASSIC ENDURO 2008 |
 |

Another year has come and the Fly Classic Sports Car 2008 Le Mans event is over. But what a great night it was with ten teams,
close racing, good marshalling, slot lotto and a shit load of pizzas.
With the qualifying sessions over, the race began on time and continued well after midnight with only a few minor issues along
the way. All in all it was another successful Phoenix Event.
WELL DONE GUYS - AWESOME NIGHT

CASUALTIES
With the exception of the following situations, all cars entered were well prepared and managed to last the entire distance
without mishap.
Team FFS: encountered continual braid issues towards the end of the race, causing them to fall back into 5th position.
- ( Fix it nights are available Peter ha ha )
Team ‘AS,’ experienced ongoing binding issues with their front tyres and after inspection at the end of the race it was
discovered that they had placed Bluetac too close to their front axle. Good one guys. Next year you will know better.
Team LATE lived up to their name and arrived late ( sorry guys ) and their night continued to go down hill from there as only
a few laps before qualifying time, their car ( Porsche 917k LT ) chewed up and spat out a crown gear. Fortunately this was
fixed by removing the backend of a Lola and placing it into the 917K.
